Healthy Interactions and Oklahoma Physicians Research and Resource Network Forge Strategic Partnership to Advance Primary Care Innovation
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo., -- Healthy Interactions LLC, a global leader in experiential education for chronic disease management, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Oklahoma Physicians Resource/Research Network (OKPRN), a collaborative network of primary care clinicians and healthcare institutions dedicated to improving health outcomes across Oklahoma’s diverse communities.
This partnership represents a pivotal step forward in transforming primary care delivery through innovative, evidence-based approaches. By joining the Healthy Interactions Primary Care Alliance, OKPRN will gain access to scalable training programs, digital tools, and peer-to-peer learning platforms designed to support sustainable practice transformation and improve patient outcomes.
The collaboration comes at a time of increasing concern over cardiometabolic health in Oklahoma. Cardiovascular health in Oklahoma has been a significant public health challenge, since heart disease is the leading cause of death, with higher rates among American Indian and African American populations. These challenges highlight the urgent need for community-driven solutions that bridge the gap between research and real-world practice.
As a recognized national leader in practice facilitation, OKPRN brings valuable expertise and experience to Healthy Interactions in extending the role of practice facilitators in primary care. Through targeted training and hands-on support, OKPRN empowers practices to implement sustainable changes that drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes across diverse care settings.
“We are excited to partner with Healthy Interactions to bring new opportunities and much-needed resources into our Oklahoma communities and primary care practices,” said Dr. Zsolt Nagykaldi, Director of Research at the University of Oklahoma Department of Family and Preventive Medicine and Research Director of OKPRN. “OKPRN’s mission is to support primary care clinicians through a professional network for peer learning, sharing of resources for best practices and practice-based research.”
Together, Healthy Interactions and OKPRN will implement customized strategies that address the root causes of chronic disease, enhance care coordination, and promote long-term health equity across the state.
“Primary care teams are on the front lines of chronic disease management,” said Paul Lasiuk, CEO of Healthy Interactions. “OKPRN brings deep regional insight and a strong commitment to practice facilitation to improve patient outcomes. Together, we are equipping clinics with the tools they need to deliver more effective, patient-centered care.”
