Efficacy of Conversation Map tool "Diabetes and caring for your feet" as a Training Tool

Small groups of 3-12 people with diabetes participated in diabetes foot care sessions for 60-90 minutes; statistically significant improvement in the following patient-reported outcomes: taking care of their feet on a daily basis, mositurizing feet regularly, inspect their shoes before wearing every time, self treatment of corn & callus, ussage of sun screen to protect feet during hot summer days, daily inspection of toes, triming of nails straight and corners foiled, seeking help during foot inspection, screening for foot complications at each visit and knowledge about all basic components of routine foot care check up.
