Personal Health Engagement™ (PHE) as a Standard for Health Education

Barbara EichorstHello and welcome back to our blog dedicated to Healthy Interactions mission of Personal Health Engagement (PHE). My goal is to put a face to PHE and celebrate all who have been involved in this global movement.

Throughout the last eight years, I have had the pleasure to work with professionals from over 120 countries, which I think is awesome! I would like this blog to showcase the impact, engagement, and overall interactions that happen among healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in self-management education and support.

I dedicate this blog to everyone that I personally have met: over 80,000 HCPs trained on the Conversation Map® tools throughout the world, the trainers who trained them, and all of the affiliates who support them.

As you all know, Healthy Interactions has been transforming health education throughout the world by engaging people in meaningful conversations about their health. We have successfully delivered on our mission to become the global standard for health education and to improve decision-making skills, behaviors, and actions by transforming the way people experience, internalize, and respond to health-related information.

The programs, developed by Healthy Interactions, are built on the philosophy that people respond better when they are involved, empowered, and come to their own conclusions as to why they need to change the behaviors that will ultimately have an impact on their health.

I would love to hear from you and know how you have been linked with Healthy Interactions and how the Conversation Map tools and programs have helped you in your practice.
